About Apricol Forte 2.5mg Injection

Adrenochrome monosemicarbazone is used for the treatment of hematuria (blood in the urine), retinal hemorrhage (bleeds in the retina of the eye), epistaxis (bleeding from the nose), secondary bleeding from wounds, uterine bleeding and preoperatively to reduce bleeding.

Adrenochrome monosemicarbazone stops bleeding by reducing capillary fragility, oozing from raw surfaces and bleeding from microvessels.

Adrenochrome Monosemicarbazone is used in the treatment of bleeding.

Medicinal Benefits of Apricol Forte 2.5mg Injection

Adrenochrome Monosemicarbazone is an oxidative product of adrenaline (chemical messenger) that constricts the blood vessels to reduce the blood flow. This process stops bleeding and also promotes clot formation.

  • Consult your doctor before giving adrenochrome monosemicarabazone to children.
  •  Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding. 
  •  Should not be given to patients allergic to adrenochrome monosemicarabazone or any of its ingredients.
  • Should not be given to patients with severe Hepatic disease.

Drug-Drug Interaction:

The efficacy of adrenochrome monosemicarbazone may be reduced by antihistaminics.
