LIQUID PARAFFIN+MILK OF MAGNESIA belongs to the group of medicines called laxatives used to treat constipation. It is a combination of two laxatives (stool softeners), namely: milk of magnesia (osmotic laxative) and liquid paraffin (lubricant). Milk of magnesia works by drawing water into the intestine through osmosis, while liquid paraffin has lubricant properties that help retain water and fat in the stools. Together, they make the stool soft and slippery making it easier to pass.

Directions for Use

You can take LIQUID PARAFFIN+MILK OF MAGNESIA with or without food. Take the prescribed dose/quantity of LIQUID PARAFFIN+MILK OF MAGNESIA by mouth using the pack's measuring cup, shake the bottle well before each use. Based on your condition, your doctor will decide the dose and duration of LIQUID PARAFFIN+MILK OF MAGNESIA.
