Sultamicillin tosilate is a double ester of sulbactam plus ampicillin. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering. It has enhanced activity against bacteria and less antibiotic resistance.

Uses of SM 375 mg Tablet

Sultamicillin tosilate is used in the treatment of Bacterial infections. It is used for short-term treatment of bacterial infections of sinuses, urinary tract, skin and soft-tissue, abdomen and lungs (pneumonia).

Sultamicillin tosilate is an antibiotic medicine. It is effective for bacterial infections of the urinary tract and ear (otitis media), as well as gonorrhea. It stops the growth of infection causing bacteria and helps in treating the infection. Take it in the dose and duration advised by the doctor.
