About Fuzi B Cream

BETAMETHASONE+FUSIDIC ACID is a dermatological medication primarily used to treat bacterial skin infections, such as eczema and dermatitis. Bacterial infection occurs when harmful bacteria grow in the body and causes disease. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly. Eczema is a condition in which skin patches become inflamed, itchy, cracked, and rough. Some eczema types can also lead to blisters (a small bubble on the skin filled with serum and is caused by friction, burning, or other damage). Dermatitis is a skin condition that causes itchy, dry skin or a rash on swollen, reddened skin.

Uses of Fuzi B Cream

Bacterial skin infections, eczema and dermatitis.

Medicinal Benefits of Fuzi B Cream

BETAMETHASONE+FUSIDIC ACID is used to treat bacterial skin infections, such as eczema and dermatitis. It consists of two medicines: Betamethasone (corticosteroid) and Fusidic acid (antibiotic). Betamethasone is a corticosteroid and blocks prostaglandins' production (chemical messengers) that make the affected area red, swollen and itchy. It is used to treat inflammation and itchiness caused by eczema (inflamed and itchy skin) and psoriasis (skin cells build up and form scales and itchy, dry patches). On the other hand, Fusidic acid is an antibiotic and prevents the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. It is used to treat infections like dermatitis (inflammation of the skin), spots, cuts, grazes, impetigo (weeping, crusty and swollen patch of skin), and folliculitis (inflammation of one or more hair follicles).

Directions for Use

BETAMETHASONE+FUSIDIC ACID is available in the topical (for skin) forms of cream, gel, and ointment. Gel/Cream/Ointment: Apply a thin layer of cream or lotion with clean and dry hands on the skin's affected areas. You can also apply BETAMETHASONE+FUSIDIC ACID with a piece of clean cotton wool or gauze swab. Gently rub the medicine into the skin until it is disappeared. Wash your hands before and after applying BETAMETHASONE+FUSIDIC ACID on the affected areas unless the treatment is for hands. Your doctor will decide the dosage of BETAMETHASONE+FUSIDIC ACID based on the severity of your infection. If the medicine gets into your eyes, nose or mouth, rinse with cold water. Betamethasone is available in the form of lotion, spray and foam. Fusidic acid is also available in eye drop formulation.

Side Effects of Fuzi B Cream

Some side effects of BETAMETHASONE+FUSIDIC ACID include itching, dryness, redness, and burning sensation at the skin's application site. These side effects usually go away during the treatment. Let your doctor know if you face any difficulty breathing, swelling of face, eyelids, lips, tongue or throat, and severe rash on the skin after using BETAMETHASONE+FUSIDIC ACID.
