About Lomat 40mg Capsule
This medication is used to treat various types of cancer. Lomustine belongs to a class of drugs known as alkylating agents. It works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells.
Uses of Lomat 40mg Capsule
Lomustine is used in the treatment of brain tumor, lung cancer, Hodgkin’s disease and malignant melanoma.
Medicinal Benefits of Lomat 40mg Capsule
Lomustine is an anti-cancer medication. It works by damaging the genetic material (DNA and RNA) of the cancer cells. This stops their growth and multiplication.
Directions for Use
- Lomustine should be taken on an empty stomach, but try to have it the same time every day.
- Do not skip any dose and complete the course as suggested by your doctor.
Side Effects of Lomat 40mg Capsule
Nausea, Vomiting, Stomatitis (Inflammation of the mouth), Hair loss, Decreased white blood cell count
