About Penfen Eye Drop
Flurbiprofen+Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose+Phenyl Mercuric Nitrate is used in the treatment of eye pain. Flurbiprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Medicinal Benefits of Penfen Eye Drop
Flurbiprofen + Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose + Phenyl Mercuric Nitrate is a combination of two medicines: flurbiprofen, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose and phenyl mercuric nitrate. Flurbiprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is a lubricating formulation similar to natural tears. It provides temporary relief of burning and discomfort due to dryness of the eye.

PREGNANCY

BREAST FEEDING
Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose + Phenyl Mercuric Nitrate + Flurbiprofen should not be taken without taking your doctor's advice, as it may have severe side effects on breastfeeding women
LIVER
You may experience side effects on your liver after taking Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose + Phenyl Mercuric Nitrate + Flurbiprofen. If this happens, then discontinue its use. Consult your medical practitioner, do as he/she suggests.
KIDNEY
There may be some severe side effects of Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose + Phenyl Mercuric Nitrate + Flurbiprofen on your kidney. Do not take it unless a doctor says so.
